Summit OCS 3.0MP Digital Microscope Camera . The OCS-3.0 offers arguably the best performance in the Summit Series range owing to the 1/2" sensor. With 3.0 megapixel resolution, it is well suited for most modern computer monitors (which rarely exceed 2 megapixel resolution) and offers the same excellent color resolution and performance of all OptixCam Summit Series microscope cameras. The OptixCam Summit 3.0 megapixel includes a Micron MT9T001 1/2 inch sensor with a genuine 11 frames/second refresh rate for live imaging at 2048 x 1536 pixels and up to 30frames/second at 640x480 pixels. The software suite features TWAIN, DirectX and Image Pro Plus / Insight software compatibilty. All OptixCam Summit Series provide the best image quality that we have seen at this price point. They feature remarkably accurate color resolution as well as a large color palette for improved color resolution and sensitivity. Each camera includes a 0.5x reducing lens that is essential to improve the field of view (on eyepiece ports), closer to that seen with the naked eye. Robust measuring software, fast refresh rates, full screen live imaging and user-friendly, image capture round out the embedded features. All OptixCam Summit Series microscope cameras include a range of thoughtful accessories. These include C-Mount adapter for a smooth 23.2mm eyepiece port plus two collars to fit 30mm and 30.5mm eyepiece ports.
